Some words from Zoe's Family

My daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumour and we made the decision to get some carers to help look after her. We had a few different careers come and go but none looked after her well and we felt she needed people with that something extra. Then along came Louise. What can I say she looked after Zoe like her own. Nothing was ever a bother and she was always there to help. Louise always went above and beyond with the care that she gave, she even bought matching head bands for her and Zoe and tied Zoe's hair back to make her Zoe feel comfortable, even tho Zoe was losing her hair she made the effort and made Zoe feel normal. Louise even stayed till Zoe's passing and supported the family and attended Zoe's funeral. So when Louise said she was setting up her company My Girls Care,  in honour of my Daughter Zoe I could not have been more pleased for her her as I know it will be a success. Sue.

Some words from Betty's family

Letting someone else care for my Mum was one of the most difficult decisions I ever had to make. Trust doesn’t come easily when you’re handing over the wellbeing of the person you love most. But Louise and Necole earned that trust in the most genuine and remarkable way. Through their quiet skill, their competence, and their unwavering compassion.
They didn’t just look after Mum; they understood her. They saw her as a whole person her humour, her vulnerabilities, her dignity and they adapted their care with a level of expertise that brought comfort to all of us.

Their ability to anticipate her needs, to recognise subtle changes, and to respond with such calm professionalism showed us, time and time again, that she was in the safest of hands.
But it was their heart that made the real difference. Mum came to love them, and it was easy to see why. They made her feel valued, protected, and truly cared for. Not as a task, but as someone they were honoured to look after. Their presence brought gentleness into her home, and with it came peace.
On the day Mum passed away, Louise and Necole stood with me and my family and through the most painful hours of our lives. They were steady, compassionate, and deeply respectful. Their support in those final moments both emotionally and in the care they gave was a gift I will never forget. They helped us walk through something unbearable with a little more courage and a little less fear.
Even after Mum’s passing, they didn’t disappear. They check in on us, held space for our grief, and continue to offer kindness simply because that is who they are. What began as a professional relationship has grown into something much more meaningful. They have become part of our lives, and we care for them deeply.
Louise and Necole are extraordinary carers skilled, intuitive, and profoundly compassionate. But beyond that, they are extraordinary human beings. We will always be grateful for the love and dignity they gave to Mum, and for the way they held our family when we needed it most: Gill.

When we first made the decision to bring carers in for Nan, it felt like a biggest leap of faith. Trusting someone else with the care of someone you love is never easy. There’s only so much reassurance you can take in beforehand before you simply have to make the jump and hope you’ve made the right choice. Looking back now, I can say with complete certainty that it was the very best decision we made.
Louise and Necole stepped into our lives at a time when we needed not just skill and experience, but compassion, warmth and dignity. From the very beginning, they treated Nan as more than just a client, she was a person, with her own personality, preferences and pride. They honoured that every single day.
As her needs increased and we moved towards the final stages of her life, their care never wavered. They were calm, capable and patient. They brought reassurance not only to Nan, but to all of us. In what could have been an overwhelming and frightening time, they created an atmosphere of steadiness and kindness.
Nan adored Louise and Necole. She trusted them, felt safe with them, and even in the hardest days, they could bring her comfort.

Somehow, they became part of our family. They shared in the quiet moments, difficult conversations and the small joys. We wouldn’t have wanted anyone else walking that journey with us. We will always be grateful that we took that leap of faith because it led us to incredible women who cared for Nan right up until the very end with dignity, love and grace: Sammy.

Some words from Alice and Flo

Its been almost a year and a half already since Louise and Necole have taken on mums care and I can honestly say, those two ladies have been brilliant with her care.

They seem to instinctively know when she is not well and when she is about to become unwell too.

I genuinely don't know what I would do without these lovely human beings, especially as I get to have some "me" time. The ladies always allow me my time to be able to go swimming twice a week whilst one or the other sits with mum.

I'm chuffed to bits that My Girls Care has started, especially with Louise at the helm and having good ladies working for her. I wish them all the luck in the world for the future. Love Alice and Flo
